A good way to repair iPhone 6 that cannot charge

Sometimes, even if you plug in the power, the iPhone or iPad will not charge the battery. You may find that the device beeps and tells you that it is charging, but the power level never increases; no electricity enters the phone and requires constant fiddling and balancing; the lightning cable is loose and the correct connection cannot be maintained.

In this article, we will outline what you can do to repair an iPhone that cannot be recharged.

A customer send us an iphone 6 ,description of the problem is that there are charging icon on the screen, but there is no electricity into the phone, and keeps restarting. After receiving it, we found that the motherboard charging chip, battery and accessories have been replaced.

steps

1. Use a Fluke digital multimeter  to measure (C1408, C1700) USB to U1401 charging tube and U1700 (U2) voltage, both 5V are normal

2. Remove the U2 and the charge tube respectively and measure the voltage at the bottom to see if the iPhone 6 motherboard  has a broken wire. The results show that both chips are normal.

3. Replace the two new chips and charge them for testing. The results are the same.

4. Connect the iPhone 6 to the computer. The battery life does not show data on the Ace Assistant.which is often happened on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6P .basically due to the CPU's problem with the battery detection circuit, and the solution is different.

5. Check the 2.2K resistor on the WUXINJI schematic  (remove R0302 and R0303 from the garbage board) and connect the two resistors together. One end is connected to the main power supply and the other end is grounded. A jumper is welded in the middle of the two resistors to charge the G1 pin.

6.There is another simple way to use: Add a 10K resistor (R0307 or R0310) next to C1700 (next to U2). It can be soldered directly to the end of C1700 PP3.0V. The other end can be soldered to the pin of charging tube G1. Then use green oil  and UV curing.

7. If everything seems to be working, reconnect your device and wait for a minutes. Install the iPhone 6 device for testing, and  the charging function is normal. you can charging it now.
