How to fix iPhones that don't recognize fingerprints

One of my clients sent me an iPhone 6S. The customer said that the iPhone had fallen into the water. After testing, it said: the fingerprint could not be registered, the recorder could not work, and the audio device could not be found, which is the same as described by my client. May be damaged by water. How can we fix it?

Disassemble the phone, finding the water in the upper part. Tear at the leatheroid and find that the right component and iphone fingerprint IC are badlt corroded. Then, cut off the shield to have a look. As shown in pictures.

Using iphone opening tools to remove the corroded U4040 fingerprint IC, C4040, C4043 capacitor and R4041 resistor, and then,  rince thoroughly the replacement components. Now, the fingerprint function backs to normal. Next, we deal with the problem of sending the messages. U3500 audio chip looks very clean, but it is more safer of the water machine to remove the chip, you can also measure the pin resistance by the way. As shown in pictures.

Remove the audio and found everything is ok, type the pad electrical resistance, and measure the pin resistance of the pad M7 is infinity. As shown in pictures.

This is a main power supply for the iphone audio cable. The audio won't work normally if it is wireless here. C3603 and C3601 resistance are also infinite after testing. C3603 and U3500 of M7 pins are connected. Therefore, the audio main power supply PP_VCC_MAIN is disconnected,  leading to no 4V power supply. Just need a jumper wire from other places is ok. Taking a jumper wire form the nearest C3600 fly to C3603 or C3601, the installation troubleshooting is removed. The repair come to an end.
