First, turn off the iPhone 5S 's power. You need to turn off the device and remove the SIM card tray before opening the phone.
Step 1: Remove the iPhone 5S back plate: Use a Pentalobe screwdriver to undo 2 screws at the bottom of the phone.
Step 2: Pull the screen up with suction cup, one hand holding the frame, and the other hand holding suction cup hard. Gently pull upwards on the suction cup until you free the bottom of the screen but do not pull up all the way at this point as a cable running to the Touch ID sensor is still connected. You only want to separate the screen about an inch at this point.
Step 3: Trelease the Touch ID's connection to the motherboard. Use the tip of the knife to gently pry the outer cover of the Touch ID's connector. The same method pry the Touch ID and separates it.
Step 4: You can now safely swing the display up more in order to see where it is connected to the board.Once all four screws are removed, carefully remove the shield and set it aside.
Step 5: Now use your spudger tool in order to remove the three cables shown in the image below. You'll need to remove the two off to the far right in order to reveal the third and final cable, which sits below them.
Step 6: The display assembly should now be free from the body of the phone. Go ahead and set everything but the display assembly aside now.
Transfer old parts to new screen
1. Transfer the Touch ID sensor and the Home button assembly.
2. Move the handset, front camera and heat shield to the new display.
3. Follow the reverse steps to assemble the radiator, the front camera, and the receiver components into the new screen.
Reassemble your iPhone
Now that you've gotten everything transferred over from the old broken display to the new one, simply follow the steps in the Remove the broken display section in reverse order to attach the new display.
Replace dock screws: Now that the display is back in place, use your security screwdriver in order to replace the two screws on either side of the dock connector.
Test the new screen: It's now safe to turn your iPhone 5s back on. Evreything well be ok.
