Help! my iPhone 6P screen cannot display anything
A customer sent us an iPhone 6P. The fault description is that the iPhone 6 Plus backlight does not work properly, and the iPhone LCD has no display. The client tried to reboot, but this didn't work. He thought the iPhone was damaged inside and he needed us to repair it.
After received the iPhone 6 Plus, we test it first. Press the iPhone power button to turn it on, the iPhone LCD screen has no response, but the iPhone 6P is turned on.
We use the phone open tool to remove the iPhone. Then take out the iPhone motherboard. Looking at the iPhone motherboard, we found that the iPhone motherboard has been fixed.
Next we placed it under a stereo zoom microscope and we found that the FL2024 has been removed. Checking the iPhone schematic by WUXINJI Dongle, we know that the inductor FL2024 is the cathode of the main light control. Now the FL2024 has been removed, so the iPhone backlight should not be normal.
Assemble the iPhone display screen to the iPhone motherboard, and then connect iPhone motherboard to the DC power supply, the current is normal, and the iPhone displays normally, but there is no backlight.
Use QUICK 861DW hot air rework station to short connect the FL2024, and then test the iPhone, but the one side of backlight still is black.
Remove the shield cover of A8 CPU, we found traces of burns in L1589. Usually, if the L1589 has been burned, then the U1580 and D1589 also will be damaged.
Replace the L1589 U1580 and D1589, assemble the iPhone 6 Plus, and then test it, now the iPhone backlight is back to normal work, the iPhone LCD screen displays normally, everything goes well.
