HELP! My iPhone 6s screen does not show anything

Last week, we received an iPhone 6S that was not displayed after the iPhone 6S was launched. Trying many times is still the same result. After asking the customer, we know that the iPhone 6S accidentally fell into the water, but the customer quickly took it out, and it seems that the iPhone has not been hurt too much, because the iPhone 6S can still be opened, but it is not displayed. Do you want to know how to fix it? Please read the article below.

After received the iPhone 6S, first we need to test it. Press the iPhone power button, the iPhone screen keeps black, we try to use another iPhone to call it, it works, the iPhone 6S has response, but the iPhone LCD screen still no display.

We disassembled the iPhone, connected the iPhone to the DC power supply (VIP727) to test the iPhone's boot current. The current test data is normal, which means the iPhone can be turned on smoothly. Now, we confirm that the failure is that the iPhone does not display.

Take out the iPhone motherboard, observe it under the Stereo Zoom Microscope, there are small trace of water on the iPhone motherboard. Carefully clean it up, and then continue to observe.

Observing the iPhone display socket and those inductance resistances around it, we found the FL4220 is virtual welding. We can open the WUXINJI Dongle to find the FL4220 place in the iPhone schematic diagram. As shown in picture.

Now, use tweezers to remove the FL4220, and the use QUICK 861DW hot air rework station to short connect it.  Check if the surrounding inductor also has a virtual weld, if yes, we can short connect it by jump wire. After observation, there is no other inductors has a virtual weld. As shown in picture.

Install the iPhone and test it. Now the iPhone LCD screen is displayed normally and the repair is over!
