How To Repair iPhone 6 Receiver No Sound

One customer sent us an iPhone 6. The problem is that the iPhone 6's receiver has no sound. When the iPhone receives the call, we can't hear any sound from the receiver, it just keeps silent. We used another phone to call this iPhone, the ringtone was normal, but there was no sound when we answered the call. Is there any way to solve this problem? Please read below.



 Disassemble the iPhone 6

Use phone opening tool to disassemble the iPhone 6, take out the iPhone motherboard.



Observe the iPhone motherboard

Observe this iPhone 6 closely with our eyes, the iPhone motherboard has been repaired, the motherboard has traces of water.



Remove the iPhone big audio IC

 Put iPhone motherboard under the Stereo Zoom Microscope, and then use tweezers to remove the iPhone big audio IC. After remove the iPhone big audio IC, we found the bottom pin was corroded. As shown in picture.




Clean the corroded place

Use the BGA remove graver to clean the corroded part.



Solder the jump wire

Use QUICK 861DW hot air rework station to solder the jumper wire on it, and then apply some green UV oil to fix it. As shown in picture.





Install the iPhone big audio IC, assemble the iPhone and then test it, now the iPhone receiver works normally.

How to repair iPhone 8 stuck on Apple logo

We got an iPhone 8 from a customer and his iPhone 8 card was on the White Apple and could not be opened. What caused it? How to fix this fault? Open the iPhone and the Apple logo displays normally. However, the phone card is on the Apple logo and cannot be fully activated. Connect your phone to your computer and recover from iTunes. Then insert the SIM card and activate your phone. The Home Button gets unresponsive with returning function and the phone fails to activate completely. Disassemble the phone with iPhone opening tool kit(VC862) and disconnect the battery. Then remove the display assembly. Use digital multimeter to measure the power supply voltage of Home Button. The measured voltage value is 3.3V, 1.8V and 2.75V. Normal voltage value for the three are normal. Then, remove the Home button and check if the iPhone fingerprint flex cable is damaged, in fact it is in a normal state.
