My iPhone 6P no baseband,what should I do?

Today we received the iPhone 6 Plus from the customer. This iPhone 6S has no baseband and there is no Moderm firmware on the iPhone settings. Why is this happening? This will affect us to use out mobile phones.




We use the phone to open the tool to disassemble the iPhone and remove the iPhone motherboard. The iPhone motherboard looks good.

Put it under the microscope, carefully open the CPU shield by Titanium Alloy Tweezers, and then use digital multimeter to measure the resistance value of the bottom pins of the baseband power, the data tested is normal.

Remove the old iPhone baseband power supply, then install the new iPhone baseband power supply, after the replacement, test the iPhone still has no baseband.

Now, remove the shield of the iPhone baseband CPU. Under microscope, there are traces of corrosion in the iPhone amplifier power supply IC.

Use QUICK 861DW hot air rework station to heat iPhone amplifier power supply IC, and then take off the iPhone amplifier power supply IC.




Install the iPhone, and go the Settings, now the Moderm Firmware has been shown normally.

Finally, re-install the iPhone amplifier power supply IC, and then test it again, the iPhone baseband is there, the iPhone Moderm Firmware displays properly.

Note:

Perhaps the iPhone amplifier power supply IC was been corroded by water, and then it pulls down the power supply voltage of the baseband.

How to repair iPhone 8 stuck on Apple logo

We got an iPhone 8 from a customer and his iPhone 8 card was on the White Apple and could not be opened. What caused it? How to fix this fault? Open the iPhone and the Apple logo displays normally. However, the phone card is on the Apple logo and cannot be fully activated. Connect your phone to your computer and recover from iTunes. Then insert the SIM card and activate your phone. The Home Button gets unresponsive with returning function and the phone fails to activate completely. Disassemble the phone with iPhone opening tool kit(VC862) and disconnect the battery. Then remove the display assembly. Use digital multimeter to measure the power supply voltage of Home Button. The measured voltage value is 3.3V, 1.8V and 2.75V.
